![]() ![]() (Note that these spoilers are not in sequential order and that they're all not officially confirmed by Toei Animation) Here are major spoilers from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero leaked: ![]() The Red Ribbon Army's new androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 will battle Gohan and Piccolo, but apparently, they are not the main villains of the movie. Unlike Broly, Super Hero puts Gohan and Piccolo into the spotlight while Goku and Vegeta are taking care of matters outside of Earth. It seems power is becoming correlated to how long a being lives and how long they have had to power up and learn about fighting. If you've been keeping up with the promos for Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, you'd already know that the movie is a sequel to 2018's Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and its story focuses on the epic conflict between the Z-Fighters and the newly-revived Red Ribbon Army. At the same time, Vados is said to be stronger than Whis because she is his OLDER sister and taught him. Beerus himself may have replaced another God of Destruction, which is why Whis has to teach him. Additionally, he is always looking for a new God of Destruction, which implied Beerus is to one day be replaced. He is the steward of the God of Destruction but also his martial arts master, implying he has more knowledge than Beerus he is supposed to pass on. This is probably linked to his time-travel powers. I get the impression Whis is portrayed as more powerful than Beerus not necessarily because of what his is, but because what he is has enabled him to live for so long he has accrued more fighting experience and power. Let me propose a supplementary thought for fun: Another is that is follows the spirit of Dragon Ball that there is "always someone stronger", especially since Vegeta and Goku are catching up to Beerus so fast. I like this idea for two reasons, one is that it acknowledges how deliberate Whis being stronger than Beerus is. What do you guys think? Any ideas as to what Whis is? Gandalf ponders and says "ah yes, that is what they called me". When Gandalf returns as a white wizard, Aragorn calls him Gandalf. That tells me that Whis isn't his real name, and that isn't his true body. When Vegeta asks Whis what he is, Whis replies "I am simply the life form known as Whis". It gives them a physical body and a name. I believe this entity sends Whis and others to keep the Gods of Destruction in check. And I believe there is one god above the rest, the one who created the multi verse of DBZ. Whis has said his job is to keep Beerus in check. Anyways, Gandalf and other angels are sent to Earth for a certain mission. Like Michael or Gabriel in the christian mythos. For those of you that don't know, Gandalf when he isn't on Earth, is one of God's angels. ![]() Initially I believed Whis was a kai due to his appearance, but now I don't. ![]()
